Ever looked at the ingredients in regular children's play makeup or even makeup for adults? Yuk we did! Full of known toxins and carcinogens and full of unnecessary ingredients. Synthetic ingredients, chemicals and fragrances can easily irritate and aggravate your skin and damage your health. Grown ups don't need that let alone children!
Not only is mineral makeup natural, due to the lack of paraben's, fillers and binders its hypoallergenic which is kind to sensitive and allergy-prone skin. Mineral Makeup is also non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t block pores, which can lead to blemishes and breakouts (even on children!)
Children's play makeup should just be for harmless fun and role play. It certainly doesn't need to be glued onto their faces and last all day! So we took ours back to basics and used the bare minimum so they can play safely.
Whilst nail polishes can't be natural, believe me we tried! Ours is water based, non-toxic, low odour and a whopping 18 Free meaning free from 18 of the main nasties you will find in regular nail polish.
We only ever use high quality ingredients, our play makeup is manufactured in the UK and our nail polishes overseas as we couldn't get water based nail polish made in the UK! All have completed the European Cosmetic Safety Assessments so you know exactly whats going on your childs skin.
